In 1965, the Schussbaumer club built a chalet for use by members and guests. With an addition completed in 1984, the Chalet is now 6000 square feet., including kitchen, dining room, living rooms, and sleeping areas. The Chalet sits on a large lot along the road to Peak 8 of the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Buses stop directly in front of the Chalet, taking skiers to the base of Peak 8. The Chalet is also a 5 minute walk from Main Street in Breckenridge, with easy access to dining and shopping.
| There are two living rooms. One is known as the "Party Room", which has a large stone fireplace and several couches for lounging and socializing. Also in the party room is a bar with four kinds of beer on tap. |

The second living room is known as the "Reading Room", with many couches and lounge chairs, as well as a wood burning stove. This room has windows on all three sides and a cathedral ceiling.
The sleeping area contains 18 bedrooms for up to 72 people, with dormitory style bunk beds. The two floors of the dorm area each has a large hall bathroom, one for men and one for women.
On a typical ski weekend, about 25-40 people come to the Chalet, so we are rarely full (the exception being "party weekends".)
